D32 Fast Double layer Nozzle (Raytools) are aerodynamically designed to aid fast cutting. Their shape is much different from their normal counterparts which results in less air resistance and faster head movement is possible. Fast cutting is desirable at all thicknesses but these nozzles are more useful for low thickness cutting. These nozzles are more useful for low thickness cutting because the profiles at low thickness are much more complex and require a lot more rapid head movement that high thickness profiles do.

These nozzles are available in both single as well as double layer (for Oxygen and Nitrogen/Air cutting. The D32 nozzles are used in Raytools head. Similar nozzles are available for in diameter 32 as well.

Double layer nozzles are mostly available with chrome plating. We do not necessarily need chrome plating for single layer nozzles as there is less splatter in N2 cutting. The chrome in the double Raytools nozzles prevents the splatter from damaging the nozzle.
